The Nike Alphafly 3 is designed for runners chasing maximum speed and efficiency over half-marathon and marathon distances. Its race-focused construction combines responsive cushioning, powerful energy return and lightweight support to help maintain pace over long distances. Two Air Zoom units in the forefoot work together with ZoomX foam to store and return energy with every stride, creating a highly responsive and propulsive feel. The fully connected ZoomX midsole provides lightweight cushioning and smoother heel-to-toe transitions throughout the race. A full-length carbon-fibre Flyplate helps propel the runner forward while adding stability through faster turns and changes of pace. The plate is slightly wider than in the previous generation, improving support without compromising speed. The Atomknit upper combines lightweight breathability with secure multidirectional containment, helping keep the foot supported during high-speed running. An integrated knit tongue with soft padding helps reduce lace pressure, while notched laces provide a secure and comfortable lockdown.
